Our two sons never go anywhere without their MP3 players. In fact there are times that I worry that some day they may have to be surgically removed. When I watch them I am somewhat envious. When I was their age I had to carry a cassette tape recorder and a stack of tapes. They were neither compact nor cheap. My sons have only to download their songs from the internet straight to their MP3 player. Then the whole thing, player and music, fits easily into their pockets or hangs on their belts. And they can listen for hours without having to ever change a tape.
